Sample Size
10,000+ reviews analyzed per top-500 product. Amazon, Best Buy, Reddit threads, YouTube transcripts, forum posts, expert publications.
Recency Weighting
Reviews from the last 6 months count 2× toward sentiment. Older data is retained for durability analysis but doesn't skew the current picture.
Temporal Decay
We track how sentiment shifts over product lifecycle — 6, 12, 18 months. Day-one reviews don't tell the full story. Month-8 reviews do.
Fake Review Detection
Pattern analysis flags incentivized reviews, review velocity anomalies, language clustering, and reviewer-history red flags. Filtered before scoring.
Source Triangulation
A product only scores high when multiple independent sources agree. Amazon reviews alone aren't enough — Reddit, expert sites, and YouTube must align.
Reviewer Credibility
Not all reviewers are equal. Expert publications get credibility scores based on historical accuracy of their recommendations vs. long-term owner outcomes.
